Legal Disclaimer

Please read this legal disclaimer carefully before using CitizenCalc. By utilizing this website and its local-first calculator utilities, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Not Legal Advice or Representation

CitizenCalc is a web-based document-formatting and mathematical calculation helper designed for self-help purposes. CitizenCalc is not a law firm, is not licensed to practice law in any jurisdiction, does not provide legal advice or legal representation, and does not create an attorney-client relationship.

The information, calculations, and generated attachment layouts provided on this site are for general informational purposes only. They are not a substitute for the advice of a qualified, licensed immigration attorney.

2. No Affiliation with Government Agencies

CitizenCalc is an independent private utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agency, or any other government entity.

3. Accuracy of Calculations and Data

While we strive to ensure that all date-math, leap-year calculations, 90-day early filing windows, and physical presence rules align strictly with published USCIS statutory manuals (such as Volume 12 of the USCIS Policy Manual), the ultimate determination of naturalization eligibility rests solely with USCIS.

Immigration laws, regulations, and policies change frequently and are subject to varying administrative interpretations. CitizenCalc does not warrant or guarantee that the calculations or generated attachments are free from error or will be accepted by USCIS. You are solely responsible for double-checking all dates and numbers before submitting Form N-400.

4. Non-Mathematical Eligibility Factors

Naturalization eligibility involves many complex qualitative requirements that cannot be evaluated by a mathematical calculator. These include, but are not limited to, maintaining good moral character, paying U.S. federal taxes, registering for Selective Service, attachment to the U.S. Constitution, and compliance with LPR maintenance rules. An applicant may satisfy physical presence and continuous residence math and still be denied naturalization.

5. Limitation of Liability

Under no circumstances shall CitizenCalc, its creators, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use this website, including but not limited to application delays, rejections, denials, loss of USCIS filing fees, or immigration status audits.
